PPF Founders: Role of Progressive Media Group (PMG).

PMG having about 400 Members, mostly young professionals of Assam, India, with deep social commitment, was undertaking many socially beneficial programmes for last three years throughout North East. But subsequently, as number of social activities increased, it was realised that for carrying on the growing social welfare activities, an organisation with legal entity and proper organisational structure would be required. After due deliberations it was decided to form a Trust under Indian Trust Act 1882. Accordingly, the Progressive People’s Foundation was registered on 15th September, 2020.

All the Trustees of PPF are members of PMG. Besides a number of PMG Members have been included in the PPF as Special Invitees and Advisors. All other PMG Members are Resource Persons of PPF. The PMG members extend support and suggestions for smooth and timely implementation of all the beneficial schemes under PPF.
